Our Story
Matthew worked for a natural health food store for nine years in addition to obtaining a business degree from the University of Florida. He always wanted to open his own store to provide the best quality products at the best prices.
Mellody worked for a national retailer for seven years in addition to obtaining a human resources degree from the University of Florida. She has always loved finding ways to help people and more importantly she loved Matthew. In 2006, they decided to go for it and open their own store where they could pursue their dreams together.
They knew that they needed a Vitamin “Guru”…someone special that would be just as passionate about providing quality products at great prices. Thankfully they had just the right person…Matthew’s Mom, Marie! Once she agreed to jump on board this crazy ride of starting a business from scratch, they were onto something special!
It was a slow beginning back in November 2006 and there are so many things that have changed since then! 3 kids, 3 expansions, and thousands of customers later, we decided to come back to where it all began and open our 2nd store in Gainesville, FL (GO GATORS!). Unfortunately, 2020 events lead to us closing the Gainesville(Newberry) location. However, you can still support us by shopping online or directly from our Lake Mary store.
However, no matter what changes we see, one thing remains our focus: Our Customers! Our goal will always be to provide the best quality products at the best prices. It’s that simple!
